      What started out as a volunteer-built temporary park in 2021 telling the story of a former segregated swimming beach is now one of Indy's newest public parks. The park overlooks an old dam on a bend in the river (stay away for safety!) with shaded picnic tables, a sandy play area, and access to the floodplain forest and fishing below.

      This small linear park connects Marott Woods Nature Preserve and Holliday Park along the White River with secluded trails with access to the river to get your feet wet. Continue under the always colorful Meridian Street bridge to tie into the Holliday Park trail system.
